Project Description
Butterflai is an R&D project that aims to create an AI-powered, data-driven business intelligence and knowledge orchestration platform for modern organizations. The core goal is to help companies transform fragmented business data, internal documents, operational knowledge and external integrations into actionable insights, enabling better decision-making, improved performance monitoring and more efficient day-to-day operations.
More specifically, the project sets objectives such as:
- Designing a modular, scalable system architecture, including a business dashboard, document and knowledge management layer, backend services, AI subsystems and integration modules that can connect with ERP, CRM, marketing, eCommerce, analytics, accounting and productivity platforms used by businesses.
- Developing advanced AI agents and data intelligence engines capable of analyzing structured and unstructured information, answering business questions, identifying patterns, generating summaries, surfacing operational risks and supporting executives and teams with context-aware recommendations.
- Enabling organizations to centralize, organize and query their internal knowledge, reports, files and business data from a unified interface, while maintaining control over access rights, data sources, permissions, workflows and user roles.
- Providing dynamic dashboards and KPI monitoring capabilities, allowing businesses to track performance across departments, campaigns, sales, finance, operations and other key functions, with AI-assisted explanations and insights that go beyond static reporting.
- Ensuring non-functional qualities such as security, reliability, observability, scalability and performance, so the solution can support real business environments, sensitive company data, multi-user workspaces and demanding operational use cases.
Overall, the project’s purpose is to turn Butterflai into a next-generation AI business intelligence and operational intelligence layer for companies, using modern web technologies, secure data integrations and applied AI to deliver measurable business impact, faster access to knowledge and more informed strategic and operational decisions.
