Policies

AI providers

AI processing is performed through Azure OpenAI Service, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. under the Microsoft Data Protection Addendum. Customer data is not used to train AI models, by Microsoft or by us. Your business data is stored and processed inside the European Union: the platform, its databases, and uploaded files on Microsoft Azure in Frankfurt, Germany, and AI processing in Azure’s West Europe region.

EU AI Act

Butterflai was classified by external legal counsel as a limited-risk AI system under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689. The Article 50 transparency obligations applicable from 2 August 2026 are implemented on all three platforms (web, iOS, Android): persistent AI interaction disclosure in chat and “AI” markings on generated reports and widgets, in all supported languages. Our Terms of Service prohibit use of Butterflai outputs for high-risk decisions about natural persons, including creditworthiness, insurance pricing, and employment decisions.
